Napa Valley

Hey there! So today I wanted to trace back to some of my favorite unexpected travels. And by unexpected I truly mean UNEXPECTED. Jay and I had the opportunity to head into Napa Valley by pure coincidence because we were headed up there mainly for my older brother’s baby shower. We did the family baby shower and then the next day we found ourselves having extra time to explore around. Once in the area, we thought it would be great to catch some sightseeing of the beautiful vineyards since they were only about another 30 minutes away. Anyway, it had been raining for a couple of weeks prior to our trip which helped take care of the draught and due to this, we were expecting a beautiful scenery. Without hesitation, we drove an extra 30 minutes and found ourselves on an evergreen lust of vineyards, green moss trees, and delightful wine!

We speak fluent wine. Just watch us.

When headed into Domaine Chandon, here’s what you can expect, the location has its typical wine tasting tour. But if you already know what your tastebuds want, then I recommend it’s worth purchasing a bottle while enjoying the gorgeous scenery.

While we walked around the area we encounter a little breeze of rain but, it was still lovely. Jay and I were having the time of our lives! We didn’t care to get wet or feel a little cold, the wine was perfectly soothing our throats with the rich flavor of Pinot Noir (our favorite). πŸ™‚

”Like the sky opens after a rainy day we must open to ourselves . Learn to love yourself for who you are and open so the world can see you shine.” – James Poland

Napa Valley was an unexpected trip, which happened around January and I love to share it with you all because the ambiance was perfect. Everything from wine to views soothed my soul. They used to serve food here in their small restaurant but, we were told they had to shut it down. I’m sure during summer it’s also a great idea for a quick trip to Northern California, which is where this little gem is located. Just a heads up…I know the last time I was there during summer it seemed pretty packed. I personally dislike crowded places so if you’re anything like me…head there earlier to avoid the crowd. Or maybe after a few sips, you probably wouldn’t mind. πŸ˜‰

Cheers!
